Breakfast at the Diner

With all this snow, it amazes me how squirrels can find
those little gems they buried months ago.
This guy was in 12 inches of snow, disappearing
for 30 seconds or more before coming up for air.
By the time I had retrieved my camera,
and successfully opened the door without disturbing him,
he had found his breakfast and was looking for a booth at the diner!

Does he know how cute he is?

Icicles & Crystals

I could go to the boat and take the same old pictures,
or I could come up with a theme.
Today it was "Icicles & Crystals".
It's amazing what beautiful art boats can create!

The 2010 Launching of Rosemary

Rosemary is in the water and looking forward to her first sail. She received a new (spring) cleat for the track and Teflon tape for the companionway. We've moved her to D Dock this year and she is happily surrounded by friends. It's been a bit lonely this early in the season, however more and more boats are going in the water and we're seeing more of our summer family.

We had a mishap at the marina two weeks ago. A friend fell off his ladder while waxing his boat. He ended up having surgery and is recovering now at home. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the bay.
