Silk to Sailing

The Bay water was a ribbon silk.
It was like moving through silky chocolate.
This unfortunately required a motor.

This was the view out our back window.

A bit of NJ rustic at our stop.
I think of Baydog when I see places like this.
There must be many stories.

Who knew?  Can you even get to this by car?

Down the dock

A great group of men!

And away we go . . .

Beside us . . .

It was nothing more than a day heading up
to Martell's for lunch and sailing back home.
It turned into a very memorable and
wonderful day spent with many friends.

Martell's Watch Dogs

He wasn't really interested in settling any disputes.
Best seat in the house!

This one, on the other hand, did a lot of chasing and negotiating!
Guess that's why he's a lot thinner!

A Day on Barnegat Bay

I don't have any pictures
Only the memories in my mind
Racing on the bay with friends
The best of its kind.

Thanks Bay Rhumb!
